A copied kit-and-bike sponsor board that sold 12 of 21 spots
Connor Holliman reused his training partner's fixed-price sponsor site to sell 21 logo spots on his tri kit, helmet and bike for IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells La Quinta. As of 24 September, 12 spots were sold for $3,475 and 9 were still open.

The campaign
Connor Holliman had also entered the half-distance Ironman without owning a bike. Two days after his training partner @winternet launched her sponsor board, he posted on 28 August 2026 that he was reusing her code to do the same, openly calling it the least original thing he had done.
His site keeps the same layout and rules: 21 fixed-price positions across the tri suit, helmet and bike frame, priced from $125 for the head tube to $600 for the chest panel. Frame spots are sold as both sides to one buyer, kit artwork closes on 24 October, and payment is by card. He adds sponsored content during training and a mention in a post-race write-up.
As of 24 September the site shows $3,475 committed and 9 of 21 spots still available. The 12 sold spots include the upper chest and back panels, both down tube halves, the helmet and the front thighs. Most of the $200 waistband tabs and the back thighs are unsold. The site marks sold spots as taken but does not name the sponsors, so the sponsor list is left empty here.
His launch post reached about 26,700 views, roughly a tenth of the reach of the original. The race on 6 December 2026 has not happened yet.
